Our mission

AQPMA is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to train expert physiotherapists in the field of musculoskeletal health. Through current manual therapy paradigms based on the bio-psycho-social model, we help our students to acquire sound clinical reasoning and to integrate validated intervention tools into their clinical practice. We bring the physiotherapy profession to the forefront thereby elevating healthcare standards.

The Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association

AQPMA is associated with the National Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, whose purpose is to help members improve their clinical skills and the quality of services provided through courses, resources and networking.

Together, we train a community for the advancement of orthopaedic physiotherapy in Canada, a community built on a longstanding tradition of excellence.
